You may be asking yourself, “What is a blog and why should I care about using it?” That’s an excellent question and I also have a really good answer. A blog is a fun, interactive way for groups of people to share information, ideas, and questions. This can be done using text, photographs, music, sound clips, and video clips.

In this case, the group of people will be all people who live in Troy. The information shared could be announcements about upcoming events, stories about the community, exciting news, or anything else that might be interesting to others. Even better, anyone who visits the blog can make comments and post information.

This blog is an exciting opportunity to address our communitie’s goal for improving community connectedness and have fun at the same time. If you’re not sure what to do with this blog, don’t fret. Community blog training will be offered free of charge in the near future! In the mean time, take a look around and try it out. Don’t worry about making a mistake — you can’t break anything.
